Growing Up

Puppies got moved today and had their first taste of gruel.  They have been moved from the bedroom out into the living area.  Now they get exposed to all the sights and sounds of the family including Roy and Ari when they are here.  Puppies will be ready for visitors soon.

I did not get around to taking individual pictures, but I did snap a couple photos of them last night.  Here they are for those of you who are friends with me on Facebook.  Looking at Rosa's eye last night, I wont be surprised if the start opening soon.

The puppies are growing, in fact they are such piggies they are gaining about 2oz or so a day!  🐷

Introducing the Civil Rights litter

Since the puppies were born the same week as Martin Luther King Jr day, we decided on a Civil Rights theme.  Ava free-whelped 2 blue boys and one black girl early this morning between 12:45am and 5:15am.  I'm exhausted since she started labor about the time I was laying down to go bed.  We don't have any individual pictures yet, but here are a couple photos.  Meet Abe, Thaddeus and Rosa.
