Mantra 16 5/7 weeks

Mantra got a bath this evening and her first blow dry. I decided I'd try to get a stacked picture of her with my husbands help.  Her legs could be set up better but it gives an idea on how she is growing up.

Next weekend we will be off to the Mensona show in Santa Rosa which Flyer and Crescent are entered.  Mantra will be doing puppy matches both Saturday and Sunday as well.  Should be a lot fun seeing people we know and meeting new ones.

Day 52 - New Game

The Minis have created a new game during their turn out time in the kitchen.  I think it would be best called, Harass the Yorkie.  They love to bark at Bitta (the yorkie) on the other side of the bench we use to keep them in the kitchen and from going into living room.  It's been fun for them, but I don't think Bitta will agree. ;)

For size and growth comparison here is a video of them just a month and 3 days ago when they were still basket babies.  My how fast they grow....

Day 49 - Seven Week Headshots

Today everyone got weighed, nails trimmed and their first shot.  Weights range 6lb 11oz and 7lbs 13oz.  It's hard to imagine that in just 2 weeks the majority of the puppies will be off to their new homes.  Here are the pictures taken today.

Day 44 - Can we please come out and play

I took today's pictures before cleaning the puppy pen this morning.  The puppies were hoping I would hurry up and let them out.

Day 42 (a day late) 6 Week Photo

Attempted to get some stacked photos of the puppies.  The did much better when practicing the day before, but you pull out the camera and they suddenly become very uncooperative. lol

Here is the "best" of each puppy.

Was supposed to be Day 40 - Video of Rebound

This was supposed to be yesterday's post, but I didn't get a chance to do so.  Yesterday the puppies got a bath.  They were so frisky afterwards.  Then'd the crash and fall fast asleep.  I didn't get the camera out until I was done with the last puppy which was Rebound, aka Senor Fluffy.  Here are a couple examples of the playfulness there was after bath time.

Day 39 - Random Pics

This past week has been crazy for me.  Things should be smoothing out though and we'll see if I can get back in the groove of daily pics.  Here is today's batch for you.

These puppies come from a long line of upside down sleepers.

Fluff or not a fluff... that is the question (She will be tested soon)

I wish this had been more centered and focused.

His eyes really "pop" now.

Day 35 - Puppies meet the crate

The puppies got a trip to jail the crate this morning.  We needed to strip and clean the puppy pen and this seemed like a great option since they are now to big to be contained by the basket.  They didn't agree.  They protested about being locked in Flyer's crate.  They thought it was a total infringement on their rights and I'm sure if they could make phone calls they would report me to the SPCA, except for Deja Vu.  She was a good girl and fell asleep at the back of crate.  I had to wake her to get her out.

Here are some photos of the torture event.
