Today was our puppy party. A big thank you to everyone who came especially to Carolyn and Tom who made us part of their travels in order to go over the puppies. Three of the puppies left to their new homes today, the 3 that are still here have been sleeping since they got home. I think it's safe to say everyone had a good day. We were able to get pictures of the puppies on the table today. I'm going to cut out on time so they won't be sorted into birth order.

Sorry it has been over a week. For those of you who didn't know, I had my second child, Ariana Lyn, on the 18th via C-Section. So the past week has been spent bonding and healing.
The puppies are doing great and growing like weeds. They weigh from 8.5 lbs to 10 pounds now at 8 weeks old. Hard to believe here in a week will be our puppy party and I'll then know if/who I'll be keeping and sorting out homes from there.
Today for your view pleasure we have an assortment of things for you. I have some pictures that were taken of them at 5 weeks old by Lena DiMatteo. I have some video of them and my son Roy playing that was taken on Wed. And I have some pictures from Wed that I snagged from one of Morgan's (the dad of the litter) owners from their visit.

Here are some pictures and video I took today. I had them out 2 at time this morning since they and the over zealous toddler can be a bit much all at once. That being said I had the first 2 groups so long to play that the other 2 fell asleep so I don't have video/pictures of everyone. You can also see Auntie Mantra engaging with them. I do find it funny that her and Titan have almost matching fancy pants on the left side.
*I'm not sure what I did, but when I go to blog to look at this post the videos aren't aligned and aren't the same size. Oh well, at least they should still work.
Here is some videos linked together as one of the puppies playing in the kitchen today. They really enjoyed playing with my sister. Navajo and Kylah wanted to play with them, until they learned the piranhas have teeth and were looking for a snack.
Puppies got their pen expanded this week and they are enjoying all the extra room. It's very easy to get lost in watching them play or snuggling with them. They have started greeting and following people when they are near the pen. Yesterday they met their first long legged dog, Kylah. Kylah is also so great and patient with puppies. We got some rain this weekend and the smoke has cleared out. Hopefully it will stay that way and we can start taking the puppies for some outside play time.
Oh my, it's been almost a week since I posted anything! The puppies are doing great and growing like weeds. They have started on gruel and LOVE it. I'm hoping the smoke clears up this weekend, I really want to get them outside for playtime. Here are some pictures I got this week of them and a short video.
